Festival of Holi is celebrated for 2 days. Holi has a theme of universal brotherhood and the holy bonfires that are burnt on the previous night which encompasses the religious nature of the festival and the origin of Holi and remind us the story of Prahlad, the child-devotee of Lord Vishnu.

The next morning which is also called a Dhuleti - a festival of colors. which most commonly cited revolve around the soul bond of Lord Krishna and Radha,

Story of Prahlad and Holika

There was once a demon king by the name of Hiranyakashyap who won over the kingdom of earth. He was so egoistic that he commanded everybody in his kingdom to worship only him. But to his great disappointment, his son, Prahlad became an ardent devotee of Lord Naarayana and refused to worship his father.

Hiranyakashyap tried several ways to kill his son Prahlad but Lord Vishnu saved him every time. Finally, he asked his sister, Holika to enter a blazing fire with Prahlad in her lap. For, Hiranyakashyap knew that Holika had a boon, whereby, she could enter the fire unscathed.

dangerously, Holika coaxed young Prahlad to sit in her lap and she herself took her seat in a blazing fire. Prahlad, who kept chanting the name of Lord Naarayana all this while, came out unharmed, as the lord blessed him for his extreme devotion. Holika had to pay the price of her sinister desire by her life as she was not aware that the boon worked only when she entered the fire alone.

Thus, Holi derives its name from Holika. And, is celebrated as a festival of victory of good over evil. As the legend depicts that anybody, howsoever strong, cannot harm a true devotee. And, those who dare torture a true devotee of god shall be reduced to ashes

Story of Radha Krishna

Young Krishna is known to be very playful and mischievous. As a child, Krishna was extremely jealous of Radha's fair complexion since he himself was very dark.

One day, Krishna complained to his mother Yashoda about the injustice of nature which made Radha so fair and he so dark. To pacify the crying young Krishna, Yashoda asked him to go and colour Radha's face in whichever colour he wanted.

In a mischievous mood, naughty Krishna heeded the advice of mother Yashoda and applied colour on her beloved Radha's face ; Making her one like himself.

Holi is the festival of freedom from social norms. Colors and 'gulal' are showered on the people dressed up in white clothes and the whole community seems to merge into one big fraternity under the guise of colors, without any distinction of caste, creed, color or sex. Children with 'pichkaris' (big water guns to spalsh colored water) and faces smeared with color look adorable..

What do you mean by Soulmate?

Do you believe in reincarnations?
In your previous incarnation, what was your stronger side?

When people think of reincarnation, they always come up against a very difficult question:
If in the beginning, there were so few people on the earth, and now there are so many, where did all those new souls come from?
The answer is simple!! In certain reincarnation we divide in two. Our Souls divide as do crystals and stars, cells and plants. Our Soul divide in two, and those new Souls are in turn transformed into two and so, within a few generations, we are scattered over a larger part of Earth.

And does only one of those parts know who it is?

We from part of what the Soul of the world. It would keep growing, but it would also become gradually weaker. That is why, as well as dividing into two, we also find ourselves. And the process of finding ourselves is called LOVE. Because when a Soul divides, it always divides into a male and female part. The Soul of Adam was split in two, and Eve was born out of him. Human beings are all interlinked.

In each life, we feel a mysterious obligation to find at least one of those Soul mates. the greater love that separated them feels pleased with the love that bring them together again.

How will I know who my Soul mate is?
Is it a light in their eyes or a kind of vision that showed a point of light above the left shoulder of your Soul mate?? or by taking Risks???
By risking failure, disappointment, disillusion, but never ceasing in your search for Love. As long as you keep looking, you will triumph in the end.

Is it possible to meet more than one Soul mate in each life?
If yes, and that happens, the heart is divided, and the result is pain and suffering.

The essence of creation is one and one alone. That essence is called Love. Love is the force that brings us back together, in order to condense the experience dispersed in many lives and many parts of the world.

We are responsible for the whole earth because we do not know where they might be, those Soul mates we were from the beginning of time. If they are well, then we too will be happy. If they are not well, we will suffer, however unconsciously, a portion of their pain. Above all, though, we are responsible for re-encountering, at least once in every incarnation, the Soul mate who is sure to cross our path. Even if it is only for a matter of moments, because those moments bring with them a Love so intense that it justifies the rest of our days.

We can also allow our Soul mate to pass by, without accepting him or her, or even noticing. then we will need another incarnation in order to find that Soul mate. And because of selfishness, we will be condemned to the worst torture humankind ever invented for itself: 'loneliness'.
